LEAD BARISTA

As a lead barista problem solving and taking leadership is crucial for success at TB&TB. Taking ownership of your position and being the building blocks for the team is what we are looking for in this position. You will work hand in hand with the Store's Leader and be their right hand on the daily operations of your store

Part Time

- $18 per hour + Tips ( Average of + $8.5)

- You will be scheduled 5 days a week / 2 days off.

- 5 to 6 hours shifts. 

REQUIREMENTS:

- You are passionate for world class specialty coffee.

- Impeccable Customer Service.

- 2 years of experience in the Specialty Coffee industry

- Solid Latte Art Skills.

- Knows how to dial and make the right variable adjustments for a great espresso shot.

- Ensures all cafe areas are clean and tidy by creating Daily cleaning schedules for the entire store.

- Always keeps shelves and fridges fully stock and clean.

- Manages raw material by date to avoid/reduce unnecessary waste.

- Solves every unforeseen store task in a timely manner and effectively.

- Maintains safety features and optimal store appearance, FOH, and BOH.

The Boy & The Bear is all about the best Colombian coffee experience. PART TIME: 20 to 25 hrs / week.

Production Assistant @ The Boy & The Bear HQ 

Our production team is also growing and our headquarters team in Gardena is looking for a responsible and reliable person to assist our Roaster and Production Manager to succeed in all responsibilities and needs in a timely manner.  

The Production Assistant at our HQ is responsible for the organization of inventory, product packaging, getting store's orders ready for pick up and roasting equipment cleaning. The Boy & The Bear is a Coffee Roastery and our production staff needs a fast pace assistant to fill, bag and box our coffees for retail and online stores.  

Part-Time position of 20hr / week. - $17.5 per hour (+ tips) 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

- Box & Bag our Coffees ready for retail pick up.

- Box & Bag our Teas ready for retail pick up. 

- Get all Merch items on the order form ready for retail pickup day 

- Coffee Roaster cleaning 

- Roasting facility / Annex cleaning and organization. 

- Assisting on receiving, counting, and organizing of all incoming inventory. 

- Accurately clean, sanitize, prep, and organize your workspace in order to execute a successful production work. 

- Make sure all products are successfully bagged, packed, and finished with flawless presentation up to the high-quality standards of TB&TB. 

- Accurately assist on the assembling and prep online orders for shipping and delivery. 

- Fully understands and execute all safety, quality, and sanitation policies and procedures. 

- Would you like to explore the world of Screen Printing? Our team is seeking assistance, and we would be delighted to provide you with the required training to acquire the basic essential skills. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- Detailed Oriented in order to assemble every item to it best presentation.
